The Book of Acts
Ongoing: The Unstoppable Power of the Gospel in Acts
During the season of Lent, we read through the Gospel of Luke, witnessing the life + ministry of Jesus. But the Gospels don't contain the end of the story! The story continues (and the story of the Christian church begins!) in Luke's second book: Acts.
Acts tells the true, historical story of the earliest days of the Christian Church. It’s the continuation of Jesus’ story, now lived out through His disciples, empowered by the Holy Spirit. And that story didn’t end with the apostles. The unstoppable power of the Gospel is still ongoing today. The same Holy Spirit empowers us to be everyday missionaries, wherever we go and whoever we’re with.
At Saints Peter & Paul we will be walking through the book of Acts throughout the summer of 2025. See below for the series breakdown.
We look forward to participating with you in the ongoing "acts" of the Holy Spirit today!
